What does all these Revs stand for?

Check out this page on LowEndMac.com. A "Rev" is a revision of a particular PowerBook.

For example, for the PowerBook 12" Aluminum:

Rev A: 12" G4/867
Rev B: 12" G4/1 GHz
Rev C: 12" G4/1.33 GHz
Rev D: 12" G4/1.5 GHz

The most commonly made mistake is with the 15" Alu PB. People assume that the current revision is revision D, but it's actually C:

15" 1/1,25 : Rev A (no rev)
15" 1,33/1,5 : Rev B (Rev A)
15" 1,5/1,67 : Rev C (Rev B)

And if you want to be precise, the revision actually starts at the first update. Look at the revisions in between the brackets. But I guess that's too confusing, so you can just stick to the first column
