I have a 15" Tibook that's about 2 years old. Recently (within the last few months) whenever the monitor goes to sleep then wakes up it has a red tone that lasts for about 20 seconds. The red tone fades away eventually, but is this a sign of anything?

I think it's a sign that your backlight is about to fail.
