I have a titanium 17in powerbook bought in Australia and am now on holiday in South Africa, and can not connect to the internet, apparently they have a different protocol over there, and I was wondering if there was any work around for this.

Any comments appreciated

Comment: this question belongs over in our PowerBook Forum. Us PowerMac experts in here apparently don't have a clue about PowerBook modems.
