So I used to have a Tibook, and now I'm running a rev. A 17 Albook.
The power bricks are rated differently, the old one at 45W and the new at 65W.
What harm could come from trying to use the old one with the new? I seem to recall using them both around the house with no adverse effects, however I just want to make sure the 45W brick wont do any harm.
Any ideas?

Lower power does no harm. Your 17" probably does not charge and operate at the same time with the 45 W adaptor because it requires the 65 W to perform both functions at the same time.

With a 45 watt one you will charge much much slower, but it will work.
