not sure how to do this, but i'm sure there is a simple answer. i want to use the same monitor i have in my grad office for my powerbook and my pc. i can manually disconnect the monitor from my pc and connect it to my powerbook and vice versa. however, I would like some type of switch that so that I can instantenoaus move back and forth. the monitor is a Dell 17inch and uses dvi, so the connection to the laptop is direct. any help would be appreciated.

Search the peripherals forum -- or google -- for "DVI KVM switch".
