I have a Ti Powerbook and have been using an Airport Express for my internet for a while now. Earlier this week I was on the internet and then web sites just stopped working. After restarting and investigating the problem I realized the computer had stopped seeing the card all together. I have checked to see if the card is installed fine, which it is. Any help would be much appreciated.

Does "About this Mac" report no Airport card?

If the about this Mac dosen't see the card, then the card probably died.

Have you tried reinstalling th air port software?

No. At this point in time, it's built into the OS. Try reinserting the card to see if that helps. If you still see no Airport card in System Profiler, hopefully it is just your card that is dead and not the slot.

definitely try to remove and reseat the card first! this happened on a friend's ibook; she figured the card died, and 2 minutes to reseat it worked.

also...try "zapping" the pram (hold command-option-P-R on startup; let the powerbook chime 3 times before releasing the keys, and finishing startup).

good luck!

Zapping the P-Ram is a great idea. And, what version of OS X are you running? I know that I have software for my Air Port. I had to install it for 10.2.
