I have a question about the Superdrive DVD Burner I bought from MACWAREHOUSE.COM. I would like to make it a dual system DVD player. Any ideas?

Why not make it region free, since both R1 and R2 are both NTSC based.

Oh good god, is there a way to do that?! Please please please do tell, cos I've been wanting to do that for years! I have several French DVDs that have been neglected because of the region code limitation!

The region codes have nothing to do with NTSC or PAL.

not sure what the questions is but if you want to be able to play DVDs, just download the freeware VLC. It'll play just about anything.

The DVDs you will be burning will be a region free DVD unless otherwise specified by your burner software.

You can hook up your external DVD burner to any machine and it'll work.....
