I just got my new powerbook last night. I got a "clearance" one from MicroCenter for only $899.00 with airport. It had a couple of small dents, but I was able to press them back in myself. I have been wanting to get a PB and while not perfect, I am happy. It is a 1GHZ Rev B and the screen is flawless.

Sorry, it is a 12" with 256MB RAM airport and since it is a Rev. 2 it has a Go5200 with 32MB and a 40GB HD. It came with everything but software (but it was preinstalled). I thought it was a good deal, at $899.00.

I will be upgrading the RAM as soon as I can get away from work to go buy it. I am going to start with a 512 stick.

Damn if a dented stock 12" + APX could go for $900 I wonder how my perfectly new looking with Applecare (sans the RAM) would go for? Enjoi your machine, I know I love mine.

It feels great. The dents were very small on the corners and I was able to press them out using the corner of my desk, they are barely noticable now. The funny thing is, it is pretty quick with the stock 256. I am still going to upgrade though. BTW. I love the battery life. I am getting over 3 hours with the screen on low and airport on.
