I have a rev A PB with a mini-VGA port.

I want to buy either an Apple monitor or Formac. They both use DVI.

Is there such a thing as an adaptor from VGA to DVI? I've only heard of DVI to VGA, like the one that comes with the newer PBks. Is that possible?

They exist, but they're quite expensive.

The reason new powerbooks can do DVI->VGA is that powerbooks also produce VGA out, and hide the analog signal in the same port as the DVI signal. Unfortunately, this isn't the case with the VGA output, and you need an actual convertor box.
