Today, my CD-ROM drive stopped taking cd's. It won't pull the cd in when I put it in the slot! When I start the computer, I hear a funny noise coming from the CD-ROM. Anybody else have this problem? Is there any way to fix it? If it's completely screwed, would I be able to have it fixed by Apple, even if I didn't purchase an Apple Care plan? Thanks for any answers.

providing you still have your 1 year warranty apple will fix it.
