...and came out 1799 and tax lighter. Had no intentions of buying a powerbook, but they had a return I couldn't pass up.
1.5ghz 15" Powerbook
1gb Ram
Superdrive
128MB ATI video
Seemed like a killer deal. Now to go get it ready for prime time.

Congrats!
I didn't think that the 128MB dual link video was an option on the 1.5 model.

It isn't. The 128MB VRAM was available as an option on last years 1.5GHz 15" though (see sig!).

Yup, it's not dual dvi, it's just a 128mb video card.
This thing is plenty zippy though!

I didn't know they had a non-dual link 128MB video card.
(I'm only asking, because I would have saved a little money if I could have gotten the larger video card on the 1.5)

They only had it on last year's 1.5 GHz, which was the fastest model. This year, they only have it on the 1.67 GHz, which is the current fastest model.

Got it!
(Now I'm clear!)
GOOD LUCK with your new machine! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
(I say it with envy as I sit here and bang out this e-mail on a crappy old Toshiba.)
