Happy Easter everyone!

Over the weekend, I wrote a cocoa application that takes advantage of the amstracker utility to do something pretty useful. I'm pretty sure the program runs fine but without having a motion-sensor equipped Powerbook myself, I can't be sure.
So, if anyone here has one of the new Powerbooks (with the sensors in them) and would like to test my program, please contact me or reply to this post. Once I verify the program works, I'll let everyone here know what it does.

Thanks!
Shaun

Thanks to everyone who contacted me. If you're interested in trying it out yourself, go to http://www.alcemore.com/blog/?p=27

The program is called BumpAlarm and it uses the motion sensors to trigger an applescript, sound file, or email alert when your Powerbook is bumped. If you don't have the brand new Powerbooks, it uses the motion of your mouse instead.

Cheers,
-Shaun

Thanks osxisfun!

I'm wondering-for those who've tried the program, are you finding the alarm too sensitive? not sensitive enough? Are you having any problems with it? Does it make your cat do backflips?

Just looking for feedback.

Why not have a sensitivity slider and make it adjustable?

I'd check it out but I don't have the new PowerBook.

I'm way ahead of you It has a sensitivity slider, I'm just not sure if the range is good on a powerbook with the motion sensors. ie: should the slider's extreme values be shifted any?
As you can imagine there's a bit of guesswork when programming something for a machine you can't test with yourself

Here's a screenshot:
