Hi just got my new ibook and am looking to get a carrying case and a mouse for it. The carrying case I want to be durable, light, and somewhat inexpensive. For the mouse I am open to suggestions. I am not sure whether to go wireless or USB. Any suggestions and where to get these acessories and which ones would be great. Thanks. I am also looking to upgrade the Ram and buy another 512mb stick. I know there is a good place to get cheap memory but I can't remember where. Any help with this too please.

for the bag, check out the powerbook forum - there's a sticky thread with about eight billion posts of recommendations. should be one there that does the trick.

for memory, do a search in this forum as this has been discussed quite a bit. i can't remember who people recommend but it should be easy to find. i must have been feeling wealthy cos i got an apple stick installed when i bought my 'book, so i'm not much help. just be careful that you get decent quality stuff as cheap ram seems to cause loads of problems.

For memory, I would check newegg.com.

I purchased this Kingmax 512mb 200-pin ram last week, and so far it's running well. I checked the specs on the iBook once it was installed, and it showed me it was a 2700/333mhz speed, rather than a 2100/266. I don't know if they sent me the wrong one by mistake, but I don't mind. Although I think it adjusts to 266mhz anyway because of the built-in 256mb ram being 266mhz.

Hope that helps.

For RAM, go to ramseeker.com, which lists current prices from dozens of vendors.
