Apple is replacing my Rev. B 1Ghz 12in with a Rev. D 1.5Ghz 12in. I had installed a 512MB Crucial PC-2100 in my Rev. B.
That won't work in the 1.5 seeing as it uses PC-2700. I plan on starting out with the 512MB that comes with it. However I would like to take the 256MB out and add ram.
I cannon decide what to buy an extra 512mb or 1gb. Any buddy know were to buy a good working 1gb stick that is not $300.

At crucial when I just look at a So-dimm pc-2700 it is 199 for a 1gb but, when I select the 1.5ghz 12inch it tells me it is $365?

that site does not seem to have great prices, unless i'm missing something. if you go to newegg directly or owc, you can find better deals.
