It never gives me an estimate of time of how much battery I have left. Nor does it tell me how long until charged. It just always says "calculating". I can still use it, it's just annoying. The really annoying thing is that it'll bring up the normal warning that it needs to be plugged in because the battery is low. The worst thing about this though, is if I don't plug it in it will just die, not sleep. I can still shut it and it will sleep. Or just plug it in. But, I really want it to stop saying "calculating" all the time. Both batteries I have do this, which leads me to believe that it is not my the batteries, but the computer. Various system updates have done nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Luke

OK, found out how to do that. Didn't work.
Any other recommendations?

may be time to recalibrate your battery if you haven't already. charge it until the light goes green. then keep using your computer until it goes to sleep. then charge until green again...

I tried that, but instead of going to sleep my computer just completely dies and I have to plug it in and reboot.

The computer must be off while doing this. I've also heard its bad to do it more than once at the same time. Not to sure about that - but to be safe, if the pen slips off and you didnt get the full 10 seconds, turn the computer on, shut it down and try again.
EDIT: Oops, you already found out how to reset the PMU, I read right past your post.
