So I bought a 5 pack of TDK DVD-Rs. I tried burning 5 DVDs and ALL of them failed. I tried 3 using Toast Titanium and 2 from Finder directly. All of them get to about 90% then fail. In Toast it says Buffer Underrun (though I even set it to 64MB buffer and reduced burn speed from 8x to 4x.) In Finder it gets to 90% and just tells me the disk is unusable, then ejects it.

What gives?

Found a Toast 5.2.3 updater that adds Buffer Underrun Protection. This fixed it. But now I have to buy some more DVDs. I've used my last one and need one more DVD.

At least it's working. I wonder if Tiger will have Buffer Underrun Protection in Finder.
