Hi all,
My local CompUSA had a blueberry iBook for $99 last night, so I snagged it. No power cord, and the trackpad isn't working, but besides that, it's working fine (I'm using the cord from my other blueberry iBook). I wanted to fix the trackpad, and clean up some of the dark spots that both my iBooks have which are above the top edge monitor, beneath the translucent plastic. Do service manuals become available after a Mac has been around for a while, or are these things hard to find? Even a decent web site would be nice. Thanks.

Mike

If i remember correctly - there is a thin ribbon connector that runs from the trackpad to the logic board that does not have a connector at the end - it goes into this part on the LB that sort of clamps on it. The connection is under the keyboard. Its a copper colored ribon cable about 1/16th of an inch thick...
