I'm probably going to buy a new 15" Powerbook this week but I'd like to know how the 15" Powerbook display is for viewing outdoors. I'd like to be able to take it out on the patio but I'm wondering if it is bright enough for that purpose.

It's fine for outside. Not fantastic, but I don't think any LCDs are. Being directly in the sun doesn't work very well though. The sun often comes through my window in the early morning and shines on my screen, and it's not too bad.
