Help, I have an ibook that just yesterday had a nice fully working Airport Extreme working perfectly. But today after restarts and deleteing of network settings I cant get my airport card to turn on at all...

Stuff I did to try, I went into network and deleted the airp[ort from the list in network configs, it really never left the list though and clicking on the check mark box did nothing either, nor did sending it to the top of the list, or turning it off in the dhcp list....

Please help,,

I'd definately try re-seating the apx card, it seems like it's not connected. Pop-up the keyboard, un-clip the small wire clip, pull out the apx card using the small plastic tab, and plug it back in again, make sure the antenna is in properly too, oh and make sure you undo the small plastic screw (which also serves as the numlock light). if you can't see whether it's un-done or not, switch the numlock light on, then when it's undone turn off the ibook and re-seat.
