Hi,

With the dual batteries, I'm nearing 7 hours of battery life, which is great, but I'm concerned as to whether or not this effectively manages the batteries.

I notice that with the two batteries, one is always drained first and then the other. Is that okay? Will I be shortening the life of the one that drains first? Is there a better way to manage this?

is it possible to have the batteries drained evenly?

These batteries are not the cheapest nor easiest to find anymore, so i want to prolong them as much as possible.

maybe using them one at a time is better?

thanks!

batteries are, first off, easy to find for the Pismo. they may not be cheap, but 150 bucks isn't terribly expensive for a battery taht will get you 7.5 hours on one charge.

www.newertechnology.com don't waste your money on used 5 year old batteries.

you should be fine dual-using batteries. but if it's that big of a deal, just use one at a time and swap it out as you need to. pu8t the computer to sleep, then swap out the batteries, then wake it up from sleep.

i use mine with dual batteries all the time, never have a problem with that. the only time i have one at a time is when i've got the CD/DVD module installed.

Hi,

How long have you been using those batteries?

Do you notice a drop in the life of any of the batteries?

Thanks!
