I gave up my original 14in ibook, for my current 15" and can't say that i am super happy that i did. The onyl big differences I feel I got were a hot lap, and worse airport reception. Would I lose anything by going back to an ibook? I know I would drop some in speed, but I do not use apps that are super CPU intensive anyways, am I insane :-) Also, if I do decide to put it up on the bay, any thoughts on selling it with ease? Is the warranty transferrable, do I need to include the original receipt, etc? Also, is the ram the same?

Lots of pics to sell with ease.

Applecare is trasnferrable, but you need to let apple know.

RAM is not the same between the iBook and PB, but if you do this, I have a 512 stick from my 12" iBook G4 that won't work in my new Powerbook. Trade? :-D

From a 14" iBook to a 15" AlPB? And you want to give it up? Yes, that's insane. The sharp screen alone is such a major, major, absolutely wonderful advantage, for which your eyes will thank you until your dying days...Have you really not noticed that you get less eye fatigue or minor headaches with the better LCD?

If your only major complaint is the airport range, get a wireless PC-card. Yes, there's the small hassle of 1" of antenna sticking out the side, but the range is so much better you'll be astonished. The only decision to make is whether you want to take out the internal card, or keep it for those occasions when you're close to your base station. If you take it out (and sell it) then you can go with a pc-card with the Broadcom chip which offers native support in X, no drivers necessary. If you leave it in, then you'll want to go with a 3rd party driver, where you'll be able to define separate locations for the internal card and the wireless pc-card (not possible with the Broadcom chip because the system software can't distinguish between the internal and same-chip pc-card). Then, you simply switch between locations depending on how much wireless range you need. Here's a list:
