Thanks for posting that link. The beachballing quote bothers me...especially since 10.3.9 already has the faster Safari (much faster!)

He specifically sites spotlight as a main reason to upgrade, and I'm sure that as busy as he is, it's a real lifesaver for him. If you're organized about your files, how then?? Frankly, once I found out that iSync 2.0 wasn't going to handle my Nokia 6230, I ran out of upgrade steam...

that doesn't happen to me at all. maybe he used the 'Upgrade' mode instead of the Archive/Install or 'Clean Wipe'. doing a simple upgrade can make things go bonkers sometimes.
