So we all know about the logic board problem and the logic board repair extention program. But does anyone know about what actually goes wrong on the board, and why haven't they just redesigned the problem out? Now that the program has been going on for a while, you'd think they'd spend sometime fixing the problem instead of just replacing boards with boards that have the same design flaw.

What's the deal?

Mine just died. From one day to the other, it would boot up any more, and the screen remains dark. The only thing it does is the startup sound.

According to Apple, the logic board takes a couple of weeks to develop. I call it BS, because this is nowhere documented. I think they just wanted to get rid of my case.
