Hey all,
I'm using my powerbook with a 19" Acer LCD. Just recently I started having a bizarre problem. Sometimes when the mouse pointer is in the secondary display (the one without the menubar), it'll get stuck in that display, and I have to restart to be able to get the pointer back in the main display. Also, I don't know if it's related or not, but the display arrangement preferences seem to have taken on a life of their own. Sporadically, they'll change alignment, switch sides, etc. Does anyone have any clue what's going on?

Reboot and reset your PRAM (hold cmd-option-p-r until you hear the startup chime twice). This should help. If not, you could have some more serious problems with your graphics chip.

Thanks for the reply. I was a complete dope, and forgot to mention that it's connected to a KVM switch. Could that be the problem? I'll try resetting the PRAM. I'm on the road right now, so I won't be able to tell if it worked till Monday. Thanks!
