Just fired up my wifes 12in rev B after a couple of days away and instantly noticed that the display was showing a new feature, a sort of white "glow" centre and (fainter) far right, both right along the bottom of the screen where the dock icons show. Don't know if this is some leaking back light fault or something else. Screen was fine before we went away, this is a sudden fault not a slow deterioration. PB is obviously out of warrenty now so I'm kind of hoping I'm not looking at a new screen here as I'd hate to throw good money at what always was a firly poor PB model.
Any how, any help nd/or advice appreciated.
Thanks

I also have a revision B PB and last week my screen died.
From what I saw in some forums many people are reporting the same problem.
There might be a problem with this revision screen.
Fortunately for me, in Europe we have a two year warranty but I'm looking at a 3 or 4 weeks repair period and that sucks .

My Rev B has uneven backlighting as well, but it was like this when I bought it. The uneveness is more noticeable when the screen is warming up from sleep, but it goes away in a minute or so.

Mine has stayed stable for over a year now. It certainly doesn't take 30 minutes to look OK. You might want to take your laptop in to an Apple Store and see what they say about it.
