Hello,

Right now, F9 and F10 change the brightness of the backlit keyboard, when its on, on my 15" powerbook. Holding fn and these keys results in the expose actions they are mapped to in the expose preferences.

I know I can turn on the "use F1-F12 keys to control software features" option in system preferences, but is there any way to switch the functions of ONLY F9 and F10 around so that pushing them results in their expose actions and holding fn while pushing them results in adjusting the backlit keyboard?

look in the keyboard sys pref. there is a checkbox for that there.

Yes I know, but that changes the behavior of all the F keys. I'm asking if its possible to change this only for F9 and F10.

I thought of another solution. Soon the program Sidetrack will be updated for the new Alu-2005 pbs.

If you have an older one then download it off versiontracker. It let's you define trackpad corners as expose hot spots (amongs tons of other things)

If you have an alu then we have to hang on a little longer.

Yeah, I have a rev-d aluminum pb. Sidetrack would be perfect for me, so I guess I can just wait for that.
