I am watching the show "24" right now and the evil terrorists are not trying to set off the missle with an svelte Apple laptop but an Alienware laptop. At first I thought the laptop design peculiar, but as they showed it again and again I could see the little alien head: instead of the glowing Apple logo on the lid I could see little glowing alien eyes of the alien head on the lid. Made me LOL; is this a comedy show or what?

Can't be using PowerBooks for evil purposes. They're used for more important things such as writing presidential speeches, etc. You just haven't seen a Mac yet because there have been no tasks worthy of one.

On Alias they use Powerbooks, and sometimes Dell's. I think they use 17" Powerbooks.

You used to be able to tell who was good and who was bad on 24 by the machine they used (good = Mac, bad = PC). They don't do that anymore because people caught on after the first season. But I don't think I've seen a single Mac on that show this season.

Ya...they use to have all the cool new Mac's on 24, but now they have that 'other' PC stuff. I guess whoever puts up enough cash, get their hardware on the show. I saw a real nice 'plug' for Cisco on the show last night.

That Cisco plug was so obvious I had to laugh outloud.
"The Cisco System is self-defending!"
I chuckled at the Alienware laptop too. Even my wife noticed it right away (but it isn't hard to miss when you are watching on a 62" HDTV).
