Has anyone else experienced problems with a G4 667 MHZ motherboard?

First I lost sound; then when the mother board was replaced, the new board was defective and froze within 2 hours of being booted.

Apple apparently has no replacement boards in stock!

Further, their system for figuring out whether they can find one is going to take 2 days on top of the 10 business days they've already had to find a board.

It appears their pre-occupation with selling iPods is to the detriment of their loyal computer users.

I'd hate to work in customer service at Apple these days except if I lived in India or the Philippines where I'd be happy to have a job even if it meant being a puppet to a corporation out of control.
