Not sure what's going on with the other thread (can't post), so I started a new one with the same title. I'd also like to hear about other peoples experiences and problems.

So... Tiger only comes on a DVD. I have 2 dvd drives; the original that came with my pismo and one from a broken Lombard. Both can read the DVD after a LONG time, but I can't boot from it with either drives. I read somewhere you can install from a partition. Can some one post on how this is done?

I thought you could order the CDs for a few bucks.

In any case, you can always use an external DVD drive if you know someone that has one. I'm not sure how you'll get it on a partition if you can't read it in the first place.
He can be fixed -- you can't.

The other thread is already in use -- no need for another. Instead, contact us so we can figure out why you can't post.
