So my friend is selling his iBook. It's only about 2 months old, bought around mid March, so warranty still covers it til March 2006. His specs are:

1.2 ghz 12" iBook
256 mb ram
30 gb HDD
Combo Drive
Airport Extreme
w/ Tiger Pre-installed (and a dvd copy of Tiger from my retail Tiger)

It comes with everything it came with when it was bought brand new. He can also throw in the Adobe Creative Suite (1, not 2), and Microsoft Office 2004 along with the iBook.

About how much do you think he can get (or should he ask for) for his iBook?

Thanks.

$14.50...and he should sell it to me.

Okay...I think $850 is too little. I would say he can get $900 since he has Tiger and the latest 1.2 ghz processor. If he throws in the Creative Suite and Office 2004, he could jack the price up too.

My eBay name is crimsonghost138 if anyone wants to check my feedback.

Does the extra software include the CDs and registration info, or is it just installed on the iBook?

If it is the latter, besides being unethical and illegal, a person could run into problems down the line with Adobe since the company has introduced a new registration scheme to combat software piracy.
