Hi,

I have my fabulous pismo that I love using except for the 10second pink screen issue. It only lasts 10 seconds but I heard that could be fixed by changing the backlight. I was wondering if any of you know of anywhere in new york city that could fix it at a very reasonable price.

Please let me know,
Thanks!

try digital society, 60E10st; they just fixed my powerbook, did a good job.
a little slower perhaps, but also good: tekserve, 23rd street.

good luck!

nice!

What was wrong with yours? Same thing? The great thing about mine is that after 10 secs, it really returns back to the bright and beautiful screen.

Any ideas on how much it would cost to fix the backlight on the pismo? Did anyone else do this?

I'd like to here your ideas before I give them a call.

Thanks!!
