So I have a 15" Powerbook running 10.4.1, and for a while there, I thought 10.4.1 fixed a problem I magically got running 10.4, but alas, after a while it popped up again.

The problem is that I have to open and close and open the lid 3-5 times to get the computer to finally sleep. I repaired permissions (whatever good that does) but the problem always pops back to the surface. The problem actually didn't come when I installed Tiger, it was quite a while after.
So I am at a loss for what to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

well, maybe i answered my own question. it just takes a very long time to go to sleep. i experimented once and it took 33 seconds to go to sleep when it used to be instantly. i guess that was the problem.

strange my powerbook 15incher goes to sleep straight away with 10.4.1. Have you got something "strange" installed?
