A few hours ago my ibook fell about a foot onto my carpet. I didn't really think anything of it because it's happened once or twice before, and though I shuddered, I just put it on desk and walked away. I came back to a little while ago, restarted it, and it's been stuck on "Login Window Starting" for 10 minutes, went and restarted again, same thing, and yes, once again. Any help? Oh I'm running 10.3.9

Mine did that a while ago with 10.4.1, I don't know why. It went to the login screen after a few minutes.
Try connecting an ethernet cable to the ethernet port to see what happens (assuming you have a network).
I thought mine could have been due to thee fact that I switched Airport off the last time I had used it and it was no longer connected to my network and it was trying to access it.

Have you tried resetting the PRAM? Hold down cmd(apple)+option(alt)P+R after the unit chimes and wait for it to chime again.
What about removing the Airport Card?

Well, i'm out of ideas.
Put in the osx install disc and then go to installler menu. Select disk utility and repair permissions and repair disk. The restart.
If that doesn't work then my only other suggestion is to do an archive and install

Sounds like you need to reinstall the OS.
