I had just installed Tiger on my powerbook and then tried to put in the newest version of Norton Internet Security. Basically, that went over like a lead balloon. It wouldn't run the firewall with all it's settings and would not run the antivirus program at all. When I went to the norton website, all I could find was that they "Now have suuport for OS X 10.3 (Panther)". I couldn't find a patch for Tiger. Since I have already paid $99 for the software and I can't get my money back, anyone know how to fix this problem??? I reverted back to Panther for the time being. Thanks!

This may seem mildly smart-ass, but I assure you, the better phrasing for this title would have been

"Norton is a Problem".

Trash Norton. You have built-in firewall protection and Norton A/V has a bad reputation, deleting one's entire Mail folder and all of its content if it sees something it doesn't like, even if it's not a virus nor harmful to the Mac.

Not with the language filters on.

Norton was a very good product in pre-X days. But those days are long gone. Norton's created more problems on the OSX platform than it's ever fixed.
