hello all

i bought my 1.67ghz powerbook from amazon when i was in the us and now i am in lebanon,
i called apple here and they have no idea about an exchange, but they were nice to tell me that i should bring my laptop there and they will replace the battery.
but since they are not too aware of the recall, what battery should they give me instead? obviously it is one out of the range of serial numbers that apple is recalling, but is it any battery other than those recalled, or are there specific ones for the latest updated powerbooks (1.67 ghz)

apple sent me one that started 3KXXXX

and the extra battery i bought in may was 3KXXX as well.
