i am going to buy a PB 15, and today i got a letter from apple about battery issue, as i do not want to buy a brand new PB but need battery replacement, how can i know the battery model Number without open the box??!!! The staff told me they do not know whether i need to change the battery before i purchase , just feel not good at all.
So do u think i would better wait?
Now is a bad time for buying apple laptop???!!!!
There were once four people named Everybody, Somebody, Nobody and Anybody. Somebody had to do a job, but Nobody wanted to do it. Nobody could see that Anybody could do it, and Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. I don't think there is any way of knowing outside of looking at the battery itself. The replacement shouldn't be a big deal. You fill out a form, they send you a new battery and you send the old one back in a pre-paid envelope that they supply. You still have your old battery until the new one comes.
