This might sound really stupid but I use my ibook at home alot and wondered if it is better to leave the mains plugged in even when it is fully charged or to leave it to go down naturally?

Thanks!

from my understanding the batteries have a limited number of charging cycles, which means that if you charge it and run it down every day then the battery will run out of gas sooner than if you charge it, and simply leave it plugged in (which is what i do). i read somewhere that you should fully run it down once a month to maintain it, though this may be a load of todgers...

hope that's some help
