Do I need to be concerned if my iBook often spends hours on a desk near an air conditioner? It's about 2-3 feet away, and I was wondering if either the temperature or the moisture could be an issue.

I see that the Tech Specs indicate "Relative humidity: 20% to 80% noncondensing" as the range, but I worry that the AC might produce air that is, in fact, condensing.

If you don't notice moisture on the outlet of the air conditioning, you probably don't have anything to worry about. I wouldn't leave the iBook directly in the air path and very close to the outlet, but keeping it in a very cool room shouldn't be a problem.
