Help
I dropped my ti powerbook 400. (it was in the laptop bag, no visible damage to the unit) but now it won’t boot up. I get nothing, no chime , no screen flashing , no hd noise. I wanted to rule out the power pack 1st and needed to know what voltage should I be getting from the power pack laptop end. Ac/dc how many volts?? If the power pack is ok what should I do next. I have a take apart guide from the web. Should I take it apart make sure all the connecters are tight ?? any help would be appreciated …

Thanks fred

Don't bother with the battery -- for testing, use the AC adapter. Reset the PMU. It certainly is possible that a connector came undone. on a TiBook it's easy enough to check.
