My powerbook's latch is peeling. I already took it in about 4 months ago to get it replaced, but this one appears to be peeling as well. Anyone else have this problem?

By peeling, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean the silver color is coming off? I'm not sure how a latch can peel and what would be coming off of it when it does peel.

Mine came with a peel in it when I bought it (Rev. B 12 inch). Now the peeling is slightly worse but not enough for me to take it in for warranty.
