I moved into a new apartment 6 months ago, along with my girl who owns a 14" iBook. Our AC adaptors have dveloped a wierd problem of needing "jiggling" when plugged into the outlet. I need to fidget with the damn thing just to get the charge light on the powerbook working. The problem has seeped over into placves where I didnt usually need to jiggle, and the exact same problem happens with her iBook. I CANT PLUG MY DAMN LAPTOP IN WITHOUT A FIGHT ANYMORE ><. We have since moved out of that apartment but the problm persists. Help!

Usually having to jiggle the adapter means that the duckhead (the little piece that comes off) is developing a short or bent pins. Usually, it's from tripping over the adapter while plugged in. If you don't want to buy new adapters, most service providers can get them. They're about $10 each, which is a better deal that $79 for a new adapter.
