Get an iSight if you don't want to worry about driver support. It's a bit expensive, but quite good. And oh yeah, it matches perfectly with the PowerBook design

Absolutely no question...pay the extra and get an iSight. The image quality and dual-element microphone are well worth the difference. Just plug it in and you're on, no hassles at all.

Count me in as well. I love my iSight. Cuts down on me calling home, and paying those extra long distance bills.

one more vote for isight. i've seen other 'inexpensive' cameras working and they look like crap in ichat. the isight looks great and comes with the mounts for the pb's screen.

iSight plus iGlasses here...until Apple provides proper video adjustments for iSight this is a good program to buy with plenty of adjustments since iSight needs a lot of light for proper use.
Link for iGlasses

iSight simply works. It is great looking, compact, and is fully supported by OS X. What else can you ask for? Only negative is that it is pricey, but absolutely worth every penny in my book.

Be warned that if the person you are videochatting with doesn't have an iSight too, you will see them in low quality! Be sure to buy your family at home at the very least a Mac mini with iSight.
Oh. And you will need DSL too for high quality video.

How long is the cable on an iSight? My mac is under my desk, is the cable long enough to go from the back of my mac to the top of my monitor?

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.
