Hi there every one.I'm new here so be gentle.I'v just got a neat secondhand ibook g3,700mhz,648mb,os10.3.8.Can anyone tell me how to find out if this is duel boot?.I want to run os9;will the mav let me go back and load os9?.Please mail me direct...jim_dee@hotmail.com.I'll be forever in your debt;almost;nearly.

Go in System Preferences->Startup Disk

If OS 9 is installed, you should be able to select it and restart on OS 9. Btw you know you can use Classic under OS 9 to run old apps? why do you want to boot under OS 9?

btw, if you post on this forum, you can at least go back and check your post. And other persons might be interested in the answer, so don't expect people to email you directly. (you will probably receive an email notification though).

Wow, learn to use punctuation and spelling.

That said, yes, all iBook G3s will boot into OS 9. The original iBook G4 was the first iBook that wasn't able to boot into OS 9.
