As a new memeber this is my first post.
I recieved my powerbook a few days ago to replace my 500mhz iBook. I am lookin to keep the outside case looking new. I've already looked into the sticky that provided web addresses for sleeves and such but I'm looking into something new.
It's called a Tattoo for your Powerbook. I searched the threads but came up with nothing but a thread over stickers which is not what I'm interested in. The only results that I have came across by using google are here.
I would much rather have something that is plain and subtle as "customization" is not my main goal, simply protection.
Does anyone else have reccomendations to protect our Powerbooks that are simple and effective?

You can buy "window decals" at local office supply, they are meant to print store window ads and stick on with static cling causing no residue. Cheap and can be customized as you desire!

I've never particularly worried about the outside of my Ti PowerBook - what I worry about is keeping the screen from being etched by the oils and acids from my fingerprints on the keyboard. I've had the machine for for around two years now and no etching at all. There are special cloths one can buy, but I've used the simple low-tech idea of placing an ordinary paper towel on the keyboard before I close the PowerBook. Every so often, usually when I lose it, I replace the towel with another. I'm doing the same with my new iBook.

Glassex on a cloth, softly clean the PB, including screen. I've had my Alu PB for 1.5 years, and it looks like the day I got it. Just be carefull not to scratch and so on. Works for me.

Ya, just frequently clean the keyboard, I use Windex on a paper towel, and clean the outer cases. Moreover, the sheet of plastic paper you get when it is new. I put that over the keyboard when I plan to leave the cover closed for a period of time or travel. I had my 800 DVI for years, and it was clean.

Biggest suggestion;
I don't care how good your case is, don't drop it. I had a little mishap with my case because it was interfering with the straps of my backpack, and uh yeah PB got the short end of the stick, it got a little battle scar on its dvi port area lol.
