If I were to purchase an apple product off apples canada store (since i live in bc). Where on earth does apple ship their product from? They say it is free shipping, well that's great. But that doesnt include customes and border cost. Does apple actually have a warehouse in canada? Or do they ship it from the US and charge you when the fed ex guy comes to the door?

I'm fairly certain your product would be shipped from China or wherever their plant is. You won't incur any customs fees.

It gets shipped from China or whereever depending on stock... and is shipped to your door.
You pay cost of Powerbook (whatever is listed on the website) + tax in your province (BC).

I have bought a few things from Applestore Canada - iPod and iBook and there was no extra fees . What they bill ypur credit card is what you pay .

I've also bought an iPod mini off the Apple Canada site and no extra fees.
