Hey. I got a 17" PB about a month ago & i still have nothing to put it in. I definitely need a BACKPACK and probably a sleeve.
Thus far I have looked at the Brenthaven, BooqBag (BoaXL) & Crumpler (Team Player). I would prefer a pack with lots of pockets, a light interior color & very sturdy...also easy on the eyes.
There are lots of posts relating to messenger bags but I can't seem to find solid recommendations on a BACKPACK. Please assist.

Okay. I have narrowed it down to the BooqBag Boa XL & the Crumpler Team Player. Does anyone have a crumpler backpack? How do you like the way it opens?

Probably not getting many responses since many 17 owners probably prefer a carrying case rather than a backpack.

speaking of which, im kind of looking for something for my 17" but haven't found anything suitable... either looks ugly or looks too tempting for a thief.. either that or any bags i find that are suitable only fit up to a 15"
this includes cases. i thought the neo case (although the matrix reference is a bit lame) was pretty good but my pb would probably heat up way too much when used inside the case as its supposedly made for
sorry, not looking for a backpack or else i'd be able to help you out. im looking more for a messenger bag. i guess this post is more of a rambling.. sorry..

I have a black messenger bag from Apple. Not very padded but the 17 fits in quite snugly. I also have an STM case for it and that is quite cushioned.
