Yes, you can add an Airport card for wireless networking... I assume it's an old model as you are still using Mac OS 9, so it's likely to be an iBook G3. For this model you need an Airport card (i.e NOT the Airport Extreme version) which can be a bit though to find these days.

Okay, I just got a Airport Card for my computer and upgraded to Tiger. I would like to know is there a way I can have a wireless network at home? I was looking on the Apple site and they were sort of expensive... Do I have to use the Apple brand? And do you recommend anything to my needs?

If you just want to create a home network involving two or more computers, all you need is an Airport card installed in each device. If you want to create a network including printers, internet access, etc., then you will need a base station compatible with your Airport card. If you want to extend the range of your wireless network you will need one of Dr. Bott's antennas that plugs into the base station. The old Airport system uses frequencies that are none too good at penetrating walls and floors, so your network area will probably be somewhat compact. Be careful what you buy because not all the networking devices are interchangeable.
