Well, I took the leap and ordered the Powerbook 15" and the ipod 4G (education deal). It's only 2 days away, as I live on vancouver island and it is currently in Vancouver. This makes me excited! Although my ipod is somewhere in anchorage....or shaghai..who knows. I have been tracking it with fedex on their website. Strange how the shipping works. :S oh well. Also got the custom engraving done.

BTW, got the combo unit. I really wanted it because of the backlit keyboard and better video card. How much better is the 9700 compared to the 5200? I know the 5200 is just an entry level, but whats the 9700 ati like in comparison?

Thanks for all the help

There were once four people named Everybody, Somebody, Nobody and Anybody. Somebody had to do a job, but Nobody wanted to do it. Nobody could see that Anybody could do it, and Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Nobody ended up doing it, and it so happened that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

It's a nice chip, not a card.

I ordered mine on Saturday and it should be arriving tomorrow! I also got the 15" powerbook, an ipod, and a printer with the educational discount. It's exciting isn't it? I'm new to macs, so I am double excited- even bought the mac os x for dummies book!

I'm excited too. I have been tracking it with SameDay.ca and its getting closer. Should be here tommorow. It sucks I'll have to get it after work or whatever. I can't wait! The first thing I'm going to do is take a LOT of pictures of it and post em on the Powerbook Pics section. Should be awsome.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
