I'm already a fairly heavy mac owner, I have a 15" 1.67 powerbook a 17" iMac G5, a 1ghz tibook at work and a variety of older macs that I just have around. Cube, B&W G3, etc...

I've fallen into a 1.2ghz ibook, and I don't really know what to do with it. On one hand I could just sell it, because my PB is already pretty functional for a portable, but who knows what an extra iBook could be good for.

If I keep it, what should I use it for? It's really small, gets good battery life and airport reception. Thoughts?

It sucks when you're worst problem is owning too many macs. (Currently 7)

I'd sell it or give it to someone you know who needs it. You'll feel much better knowing that it's actually being used.

I'd buy it from you, since I'll need a portable when school starts. But, I just started my new job and my bank account isn't exactly overflowing.

The specs are pretty similar. So, sell it.

i keep all mine in use: my powerbook stays on my desk, the ibook hits the road (or livingroom) and the clamshell is a jukebox.

I'd do like teknopimp, and make the spare ibook a jukebox. setup an airport express to your stereo system and you'll really enjoy your ijookebox.

But, if u really dont need it and can't find a use, and the money isn't an issue, honestly, I'd just give it to someone. Ilost track of how many of my old computers are still being used by families in my parents neighborhood. They aren't speed demons, but they do the job for those who still have them.

or, u could always just sell it for some pocket money.
