I'm pretty sure iBooks don't have a thermometer in them right? Just trying to settle a bet...

You can find the temperature of a laptop with the right software. My PB17 is running at 108.5F right now.

Temperature Monitor is the "standard" for watching of the internal temperature. It is available via versiontracker.
